Skin Masters

Skin Masters is a medical aesthetics training academy created for qualified nurses and doctors who want more than just beginner-level education. Founded by Nurse Georgi, of Sorella Aesthetics in Kent, and Nurse Louise, of Secret Skin Aesthetics in Hampshire, it exists to provide practical, personal and clinically excellent training.

At LS Media and Marketing, we partnered with Skin Masters to bring this vision to life through a website that supports both lead generation and long-term growth.

Getting To Know Skin Masters

Georgi and Louise met in 2011 while studying nursing at Southampton University. After qualifying and spending years running their own successful clinics independently, they identified a clear gap in the aesthetics training market.

While beginner courses are widely available, advanced-level education and ongoing support for trained professionals is far harder to find. Skin Masters was created to bridge that gap, offering high-level training, confidence-building education and a supportive environment where clinicians can continue to refine their skills.

Their ethos is rooted in community, confidence and clinical excellence – values that needed to be clearly reflected across their digital presence.

Skin Masters’ Vision

Skin Masters approached us with a clear goal.

To create a visually engaging website that promoted their training services without falling into the trap of sterile, overly clinical design.

They wanted the site to feel joyful, welcoming and human, while still maintaining credibility and professionalism. Long-term, the website would also act as a central hub for resources, accessible exclusively to their students through a paid membership.

Phase 1 – SEO & Competitor Research

We began the project with detailed SEO research. This included nationwide keyword research around medical aesthetics training, as well as more local search terms focused on Hampshire and Kent.

Alongside this, we reviewed several established aesthetics training providers to better understand the competitive landscape. While this research helped inform structure and content, it was equally important that Skin Masters didn’t simply blend in. The goal was to understand industry norms, while consciously choosing not to replicate them.

Phase 1 Activities Included;

  • SEO research focused on nationwide and local search terms relevant to medical aesthetics training
  • Competitor analysis of established training providers within the aesthetics industry
  • Strategic positioning to ensure Skin Masters felt distinct, rather than derivative

Phase 2 – Copywriting

One of the biggest challenges, and most important elements, of the project was finding the right tone of voice. The copy needed to feel medical and professional, but not rigid or intimidating. It also needed to reflect Georgi and Louise’s personalities, keeping things light, warm and approachable.

We wrote all of the core landing pages required to launch the website, including the homepage, about page, training courses, FAQs, meet the team, blog and contact page.

Throughout the site, we ensured Skin Masters’ ethos and philosophy were woven naturally into the copy, helping prospective trainees understand not just what was on offer, but what makes Skin Masters different.

Phase 2 Activities Included;

  • Copywriting for all core website pages required for launch
  • Development of a tone of voice that balanced clinical credibility with warmth and personality
  • Integration of Skin Masters’ ethos and values across all written content

Phase 3 – Website Build

Due to time constraints and project scope, we selected a Wix template as the foundation for the website build. Rather than using the template as-is, we treated it as a starting point, implementing Skin Masters’ branding and making layout adjustments to improve flow, clarity and usability.

The website was designed to be simple and intuitive to navigate, with clear calls to action guiding users towards making an enquiry or booking training. Particular care was taken to ensure the site was fully responsive and optimised across all devices.

Phase 3 Activities Included;

  • Selection and customisation of a Wix template to suit project timelines
  • Implementation of Skin Masters’ branding across the website
  • Layout and design tweaks to improve user journey and navigation
  • Mobile optimisation and cross-device testing

 

Phase 4 – Resources & Paid Membership

As part of Skin Masters’ wider growth plans, we built the foundations for a paid membership area, set to launch in early 2026. Hosted directly on the website, this space will give students access to exclusive resources designed to support them beyond their initial training.

The membership will include practical guides, videos and Q&A-style content, helping Skin Masters continue supporting their students while also creating an additional income stream for the business.

Phase 4 Activities Included;

  • Planning and structuring of a paid membership area within the Wix website
  • Creation of a paywalled resource hub for Skin Masters students
  • Forward planning to support scalable growth and recurring revenue

Phase 5 – Email Template Design & Automation

Once the website was complete, we turned our attention to email marketing. We designed a branded email template that followed the look and feel of the website, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.

We also set up an automated welcome campaign, so that any new lead signing up through the website immediately receives a branded introduction to Skin Masters, along with a clear call to action to book training.

Phase 5 Activities Included;

  • Design of a branded, mobile-friendly email template
  • Alignment of email design with the website’s visual identity
  • Automation of a welcome email campaign for new website leads

The Outcome For Skin Masters

The Skin Masters website went live at the beginning of November and marked the start of an exciting new chapter for the brand. Since launch, we’ve continued working closely with Georgi and Louise, supporting them on a monthly basis with ongoing content as Skin Masters continues to grow.

We’re looking forward to launching the paid membership in 2026 and building on the foundations already in place.
